Obituary for Theodore Marschall Jr.

Theodore  Marschall Jr.
Theodore Marschall, Jr. passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 21, 2021. He was 88. Theodore was born in Philadelphia to the late Pearl Hendricks and Theodore Marschall, Sr. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 65 years Doris Marschall. Theodore is survived by his loving children, David (Elizabeth), Steven, Robert, and Christopher (Meghan); and grandchildren, Dr. Matthew (Lauren), Sean, Cory, Emma, Riley, and Thomas; and great-grandson, Garrett.

Theodore (Ted) was a strong and loving father, grandfather, great-grand-father, and husband. He loved his wife Doris as his soul-mate and partner in life. He attended church regularly and lived those Christian values. Ted was hard-working, honest, and dedicated to providing for the family. He worked his way up from repairing telephone lines to a 35-year career in information systems management at Bell Telephone and then 10 years at GE Aerospace. Ted loved spending time with family during holidays, at the beach in Wildwood and Ocean City NJ, and cooking big pancake breakfasts. Other hobbies included coin collecting, hunting, gardening, playing pinochle, and watching the Phillies.

Theodore's family will receive relatives and friends on Sat., March 27, from 9 to 10AM, at the Decker-Givnish Funeral Home, 216 York Rd. Warminster, PA 18974. A funeral service for Theodore will begin at 10AM with Rev. Pastor Karyn Wiseman. Theodore will be laid to rest at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Ambler, PA.
