John W Dieckman

Dear family, I would go on retreat with Al every year. This year we both decided to skip it. I never realized I would not see him again in this life. When my sister lost her son at age 15, he offered to talk with her as he had lost his daughter. He was a truly great Christian (I do not use term lightly) and always showed great compassion and kindness to me. I was deeply grieved to hear of his death and so sorry I did not know in time to attend the funeral. We will all remember him next year at retreat, God willing. A better man you could not find on this earth. very fondly, John Dieckman North Catholic retreat Director
