Many thoughts of my dear sister flood my mind. Mostly I remember how full of life she was as a child. She was so bright that many adults were intimidated by her especially her teachers. I was always so proud of her! She would never back down if she had her mind made up about something. As she grew up she used that determination to improve the lives of her friends, family and patients. The world will be a much harder to navigate place for those of us that counted on Karen for her advice, friendship & love. She will be greatly missed!
