Agnes was born in the Germantown section of Philadelphia and was one of seven children. Her immigrant parents worked hard to provide a good but hard life for the family. Agnes met her future husband, Stephen prior to his enlistment in the Navy, where he served honorably in both the European and Pacific theaters during World War II. Following Stephen's discharge from the Navy, Agnes and Stephen married and raised four children. They were married for 60 years. The family frequented the Atlantic City beach in the summer and always enjoyed family gatherings during the holidays. Agnes was especially fond of holding the babies and small children in the family and this always brought a smile to her face.

Agnes was a lifelong, active member of the Catholic Church and spent the last several decades of her life as a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Southampton, Pa. In her last several months, Agnes developed a wonderful relationship with her Eucharistic Minister JoFran.

Agnes loved to garden and she appreciated the beauty of unusual and colorful flowers. She also loved needlework and was proud to make marriage and birth announcements for the family. In her younger years, Agnes loved to dance and her favorite polka partner was her husband, Stephen.
