Janie O.  Taylor
Janie O. Taylor of Gloria Dei Farms, Hatboro, PA died peacefully on Sunday, April 7, 2019, at Personal Care at The Park surrounded by her family. She was 88. She was the beloved wife of Daniel E. Taylor for 65 years. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Florence Kubacki Overington and sister of the late Charles J. Overington. Mrs. Taylor was a resident of Gloria Dei Farms for the past 13 years and formerly resided in North Wales and Southampton, PA. Before her retirement, she was employed with the Investigative Unit of Prudential Insurance Company for 15 years. Her heart and soul was captured by being involved with stage and theatre productions. She had made many television commercials over the years, was live on WFIL radio broadcasting at the age of sixteen, and performed at The Bucks County Playhouse along with numerous community theaters throughout her lifetime. She will be sadly missed as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. In addition to her husband, Janie is survived by her three sons, Daniel C. “Rusty” Taylor and his wife, Kim, of Bensalem, Timothy M. Taylor and his wife, Lisa, of Marmora, NJ, and Laurence J. “Larry” Taylor and his wife, Debra, of Southampton. She was the proud “Mimi” of Zachary, Carly, Jamie and Colin. Janie’s family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, April 11, 2019, from 10:00 AM until her Funeral Mass at 11:30 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 611 Knowles Avenue, Southampton, PA 18966. Interment will take place at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown at a future date. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O.
