Obituary for
Mark S. DiCampello
Mark Sloan DiCampello, 41, passed away suddenly on February 23, 2019. He was born on March 22, 1977 in Philadelphia to Karen (nee Dover) and the late Sloan F. DiCampello, Jr. He was a 1995 graduate of William Tennent High School and followed his father into the family business as a ceramic tile contractor, adding his own artistic edge.
Mark loved music and concerts and was a gifted artist, chef and animal lover. He will be greatly missed by his feline sidekick, Sassy. His endearing personality and free spirit drew people toward him. It was because of these qualities that Mark made a friend wherever he went.
Mark had an adventurous spirit and loved camping and hiking. He traveled and lived on both coasts of the US and a few places in between. One of his favorite jobs was navigating the Rio Grande as a whitewater rafting guide in Taos, New Mexico.
Mark was preceded in death by his father and will be deeply missed by his devoted mother Karen M. DiCampello, his sister Karen S. Kuyper (JohnPaul), his grandparents, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Mark's family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, March 6, 2019, from 9 to 11 AM at James J. McGhee Funeral Home, 690 Belmont Ave., Southampton, PA. Services for both Mark and his father, Sloan, who passed away on August 30, 2018, will begin at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations in Mark's name be made to the Herren Project at www.herrenproject.org.
