Ralph and I coached the "Rowdies" travel soccer team together at Hulmeville Soccer Club. I was always inspired by the energy and enthusiasm he had for coaching youth soccer well into his 70's, and his ability to connect with players of all ages. Ralph was a true gentleman and he always conducted himself as a coach, and a man with total class. I'll always cherish being on the pitch with Ralph and smile when I think of his calm demeanor at watching the game and players he loved. My condolences to the entire Hofmann family.
