Rita B.  Voit (Bradley)
Rita B. Voit, 86, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed from this life on Sunday Feb. 7, 2016 at Abington Memorial Hospital. She was surrounded by her husband, children and grandchildren. She was born in Philadelphia to Helen (nee Querpel) and Daniel Bradley. Rita is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, John; her children, Catherine Voit (Thomas Dey), Laurieanne Voit-Perry and John B. Voit; grandchildren, Christopher, Kylene, and Conor Dey and Danielle and Jackson Perry; her brother, Donald Bradley and several nieces and nephews.

Rita graduated from Mount Saint Agnes College in Baltimore in 1951. She was very active in Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish and many civic and charitable organizations in the community.
Rita taught Preschool at Church of the Redemption for 25 years. Her love of children was most fulfilled by her active participation in the lives of her five grandchildren. They meant the world to her. Rita enjoyed the times spent with her “coffee ladies", but most especially enjoyed spending time at the shore with her family and friends. Rita will be remembered most for her humor, unconditional love and loyalty and her “zest for life.”

Rita's family will receive relatives and friends on Thurs. Feb. 11, 2016 at Our Lady of Good Counsel, 611 Knowles Ave., Southampton, PA from 10-11:30 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Bensalem.

In lieu of flowers, the Voit family has requested donations in Rita"s name be made to the MDS Foundation, 4573 South Broad Street, Yardville, NJ 08620.

Life Story for Rita B. Voit (Bradley)

Rita Voit, beloved wife,mother and grandmother, passed from this life on February 7th,2016 @ Abington Hospital surrounded by the adoring care of her loving husband,children and grandchildren. Born in Philadelphia on April 30th,1929 to Daniel and Helen Bradley, Rita graced us all with her humor, her unconditional love and loyalty and "zest for life" for over 86 years. Married to John for over 60 years, Rita was an inspiration to her 3 children;
Cathie, LaurieAnne and John as well as to her 5 grandchildren Christopher, Kylene, Conor, Danielle and Jackson.

Rita lead a rich, diverse yet humble life. She graduate from Haddonfield High School (New Jersey) in 1947 with a love for theater. She went on to graduate from Mount Saint Agnes College, Baltimore (1951) where she was President of her class for all four years!

Rita met and married the love of her life- John - in 1955. They moved to Southampton where she raised their three beautiful children and instilled in them a kindness towards others and an enthusiasm for life! Rita was active in Parish life and many civic and charitable organizations in the community.

Rita taught Preschool at Church of the Redemption for 25 years. Her love of children was most fulfilled by her active participation in the lives of her five grandchildren. They meant the world to her.

Rita loved life and lived life to the fullest. Her wide circle of friends are a testament to her fun loving spirit. She especially enjoyed the times spent with her " Coffee Ladies".
She enjoyed nothing more than spending time at "the shore" with family and friends.

Always one to reach out to someone in need with a kind word or special card, Rita will be sorely missed by the people whose lives she touched, but none more so then her family.
