My sympathies to Pauline's family. Her warm friendly smile, her joking ways, her hearty laugh, her genuine concern... she will be missed by all who knew her. I've known Pauline for about 25 years that she was at 7-Eleven, and the one thing I know most about her is how big her heart was. She had a heart of gold, and always spread a smile. She was so proud of her girls, and I am so blessed to have known her in my life.
Pauline was a true gem and she will surely be missed. I am glad to have known her, as she always brightened my day when I would go to 711. Condolences to her family....
We are deeply saddened to hear of the death of Pauline. She was a very kind and friendly woman. She went to Alaska in 2015 along with her daughter to visit her other daughter. We shared a story with her about our Grand-daughter Erin being in Alaska in 2014.
Pauline's friendly smile will be missed along with her kind words.
Adding another voice to the tributes; I experienced all of the above. Pauline always had a kind word, asked about my family and me, was quick with a quip. She will be missed.
What a special person. Pauline was so friendly, always took time to talk to you. Such a hardy laugh. So proud of her girls. Pauline will be truly missed by everyone. My deepest sympathy to the family. Anne, George and Scott
We are truly saddened to hear the loss of Pauline. Our deepest sympathies go out to Nabil and family. Going to 7-11, often met a friendly conversation with Pauline. She always asked how our family was doing, especially the boys. I now look back at these times with fond memories of a neighbor who sincerely cared about others. It was an honor to have known such a friendly kindhearted person. Our condolences.
I only met Pauline a couple times, but have the pleasure of working with her daughter here in Alaska. Despite our short relationship, I know she was a fabulous mother and a spiritual woman. She was more concerned about others than herself and had a huge, loving heart. I wish her family healing and peace at this time.
She was always very friendly when you went into the store to purchase something and always joking around. She always had a smile on her face and asked "how's your day going". She would always ask me how my boys are doing and said the other day " I still remember the day you went over to Cambodia to get Chance". Logan loved to go up to 7-11 to see her. She was always looking out for the younger ones to make sure they did not get in trouble. She will be MISSED GREATLY!!!
