Frani “Yiayia” Patselas of Churchville, passed away peacefully on Monday March 2, 2021. Frani was 71. Frani was born in Philadelphia to Jina (Seremelis) Bouboulis and Ernest Bouboulis. She is survived by her children, George Peter (Holly) and Jennifer Petronis (Frank); grandchildren, Madison and Emily Patselas, Frankie and Ella Petronis; sister-in-law, Despina Peterman (James) and Sandi Patselas and brother-in-law to the late Jimmie Patselas, Nieces and Nephews, Cathy Commentucci (Joe), Christelle Patselas, Nick Skoufalos (Jean) Nicholas Skoufalos, Joey Commentucci, Julia Skoufalos, Addison Skoufalos.
Aunt, Helen Seremelis; cousins, Stanley Seremelis, Angie Seremelis and Debbie Scanlon (Joe); Godson's, Chris Argerakis and Ryan Wolf.

She grew up in Philadelphia, and graduated in 1966 from Abraham Lincoln High School and married Peter Patselas upon his return home from the Vietnam War in 1969.

Since Frani was an only child, she made close friendships that she had throughout her life. She loved music, especially The Beatles & Billy Joel. She loved the shore and going on cruises. She was an animal lover and especially loved her cats Molly and Johnny and her lovebirds Bailey and Callie. Frani was crazy about babies and kids, which explains her close connection with her nieces, nephews.
Frani was a full-time loving and devoted mother to George and Jenn, until they were older. Frani then worked as an Insurance Agent at various local companies, until she retired in 2015. Frani always loved spending time with her family.
Her greatest joy in life was being a Yiayia.

Her tremendous loss is felt by so many friends and family. Some actual quotes written about her passing.
She was an incredible person who would light up a room as soon as she walked in.
She would make you feel like the most important person she spoke to.
She was the kind of person that you walked away from feeling special.
She was a free spirit.

Relatives and friends are invited to Frani’s Life Celebration on Monday March 8, 2021 from 10 to 11:00 AM at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 7921 Old York Rd., Elkins Park, PA 19027. Service will begin at 11:00. Interment will be at Lawnview Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the Patselas family by visiting www.McGheeFuneralHome.com. Donations in Frani's memory may be sent to The Alzheimer's Association or Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church.
