Message: Dear Joan, Jill and family, While the news of Adam's death saddened us, it was also a reminder of our own mortality and how joyful it will be when those of us who were friends on earth will be united in heaven forever. Adam's death in many ways typified the man we knew. He loved his family more than anything and would not want you to see him suffer. There was no need to say good-bye because his Faith was so strong that he knew you would all be together again. He was only going to lead the way home for you. I cherish the many memories we have of you as we met at Georgetown as we moved our girls both in an out and celebrated their graduations and parents weekends together. We will certainly never forget the wonderful time we had together at Jill's wedding. You welcomed us so cordially and made us feel as if we were family. Gary, being the quiet man he is, had a great respect for Adam and they were able to communicate deeply but without extraneous words. He will be missed. Our prayers are with you, especially over the next few months, as you adjust to living without his physical presence but find an ever deeper spiritual awareness of him.
