As you celebrate Aunt Diane's life, I remember the times at our farm in Salem, NJ. We had many family reuinions there, but I remember most the visits from Uncle Bobby, Aunt Diane, and the cousins. We always had so much fun, and if I listen real hard, I think I can hear her laugh. Seems like we were always laughing about something, even if was about work; getting the wheat in before the rain, bagging it by hand - laughing about all the dust; bottle feeding the calves Fan and Abby; digging the well. She made work fun! There is a great family reunion going on in Heaven, and someday, we will all be sitting at the same table again (there won't be a "kids" table!).

So sorry to hear about Aunt Diane’s passing. She was the kind of person who always made you feel loved when you were near her. As a child, I watched her handle a variety of different circumstances with grace and calm, and to this day, I try to emulate her.

I have so many memories of Aunt Diane; from her riding down our street in a parade on a float in a 20's dance costume dancing like crazy on the back of the truck, to her hosting all the big (and I mean BIG) family gatherings and afterward doing the dishes in the kitchen chattering like a bunch of hens, I was the flower girl at Aunt Diane and Uncle Bob's wedding and their Debbie was flower girl at my wedding. Uncle Bob's devotion and love for her outshone everything. He always calls her "My Diane". She was a very special person and will really be missed.
