An Inspiration

I became an OLGC parishioner 30 years ago. There were certain people who I remember observing always at daily mas, always in the confession line, always at Sunday mass. I remember this one man imparticular- such a kind face, beautiful blue eyes, a gentle man and gentleman who was always so participatory any which way I turned within the parish community. I watched this man for all these years and loved what I saw. Whenever I did not 'feel' like going to mass because I was 'tired' or because the 'weather ' was too ' inclimate' I thought of that man- whose name I had never gotten to know...the man who I only ever shared pleasantries with ...and I was inspired to get up and do what what that faithful man I witnessed for decades did- SERVE AND HONOR THE LORD! FredLudwig, without ever knowing it, brought me to the Lord! If that is not faith in action, I don't know what is!! I only learned of Fred's earthly name 2 years ago... but it didn't really matter. First and foremost I knew WHO Fred was~. A child and servant of God! May heaven be your eternal home, dear man(;
