Richard E. “Dick” Trub of Upper Southampton, PA, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2017, at Southampton Estates, surrounded by his family. He was 77 years old.

Richard is survived by his loving wife Jane Marie Trub nee Roberts; son, Richard E. Trub, Jr.; daughter, Lisa Marie Conte (Dan); and brother, Charles Trub.

Richard was born on July 22, 1939, in Philadelphia PA, to Philip and Mae Trub. He attended Drexel Univ., majoring in Engineering. Richard proudly joined the U.S. Army, serving for 6 years and was part of the 330th Engineer Corps attaining the rank of Sergeant. He later worked at PennWalt-Sharples Division, Alfa Laval in Warminster, PA, as a Mechanical Engineer, with an expertise in submarine centrifuges for 38 years.

Richard was an avid hunter and history buff and his brain was filled with knowledge. He loved spending time with his 2 furry friends Boo and Holly. While ill for many years, he was a fighter who was strong willed and very resilient.

Richard’s family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, January 31st, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, at the James J. McGhee Funeral Home, 690 Belmont Ave. Southampton, PA. Funeral Services for Richard will begin at 11:00 AM. Richard will be laid to rest at Pine Grove Cemetery, Hatboro, PA.
