Obituary for Maureen Heathcote (Mullen)

In loving memory of a woman who taught all of us the simple meaning of life, love and "always be grateful."
Maureen (Mullen) Heathcote quietly passed Saturday, Jan. 2, 2016, in the loving arms of her husband, Clarence.
Maureen was born in Philadelphia to the late Charles and Margaret Mullen. She was the devoted mother of Dylan and Nolan; and stepmother to Aislinn and Sean. Maureen also is survived by her sisters, Margaret Fortino and Kathleen Monaghan; many nieces and nephews, and her dearest friends, Dannie (Grill) Jervis and Karen (Casella) Alford.
"You will forever be in our family and friends hearts. Rest in peace, my love."
Maureen's family will receive relatives and friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6, at the James J. McGhee Funeral Home, 690 Belmont Ave., Southampton, and again from 10 to 11;30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 7, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 611 Knowles Ave., Southampton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont.
