Rudolph(Rudy) R. Treichel, passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2014. He was 87. Rudy was the son of the late Bertha and Rudolph Treichel. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 68 years, Dorothy (nee Praria), and by his sisters, Ruth, Bertha, Ada, Esther & Betty. Rudolph is survived by his; children, Dorothy Breslin (Chuck) & Rudolph (Monica), grandchildren, Michael John, George, & Caitlin, sister, Ella Hankel.

Rudy was a long time, active member of the Bell Telephone Company’s charitable organization: The Pioneers, the Northampton Presbyterian Church, and the American Legion Post 800. He worked at Bell Telephone Company for 42 years as a lineman and facilities assigner. A proud Marine, he served 10 years of active duty and reserve service from 1950 to 1960.

A memorial service for Rudy will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, March 30, 2014, at the Northampton Presbyterian Church, 539 Buck Road, Holland, PA. Rudy’s interment is to be held privately.
