Message: Charles, Butch to us, was a gentle and kind person. We often played together on the Swank farm in Drums, PA. This farm was owned by our grandparents, Joseph Tilghman and Hannah Swank, and later by my parents Martin and Margaret Swank. We liked to play in the barn. A favorite game was Kick the Can. Butch served his country in VietNam. He valued family and especially enjoyed family gatherings.
