Joseph J.  Noble
Joseph J. Noble, Sr., age 82, of Upper Southampton, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2013. Joseph was born March 18, 1931, to the late Daniel J. Noble, Sr., and the late Marie (nee Deubel) Noble. He is also predeceased by his brother Daniel J. Noble, Jr. Joseph is survived by; his loving wife, of 55 years, Eleanor (nee Kleponis) Noble; his
children, Joseph J. Noble, Jr. (Kelly), Paul Noble (Rosemarie Donato), Stephen Noble, Laura Showmaker (Dale), Linda Gallik (Ralph), Karen Miller (Christopher), and Daniel Noble (Amy); his grandchildren, Dale, Amy, Scott, Kevin, Cara, Christopher, Kyle, Matthew, and Megan.

Joe, born in Philadelphia and a long-time resident of Southampton, graduated from Drexel University in 1955 with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He was a Senior Project Manager for Pennwalt/Alpha Laval where he retired in 1996. He served as a 1st Lt. in the U.S. Army. Joe was an avid sports fan and loved coaching baseball. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, family and friends. He was the President of the St. Francis senior group at O.L.G.C. Joe was well-liked, admired and respected. His good-humor, intelligence and fun-loving nature were evident throughout his life.

Joe’s family will receive relatives and friends Monday, April 1, 2013, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 611 Knowles Ave, Southampton, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 12 p.m., with the Rev. John J. Kilgallon as the celebrant. Joe will be laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Philadelphia, PA.

In lieu of flowers Joe’s family would graciously appreciate donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust St., Philadelphia, PA, 19103, or to the American Diabetes Association, 150 Monument Dr., Bala Cynwyd, PA, 19004.
