The obit and picture attached is for the Tues. Mar.30 edition of the Courier Times.

Ann M. Allen, of Ivyland, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2021. She was born in Philadelphia to Aurelia nee DeLuca and Serafino Ranalli. Ann is survived by her nephew, Lee Ranalli; nieces, Maryann Ounjian, Danita Waibel and Joanne Slonaker; sister in laws, Marie Ranalli and Delores Ranalli; grand nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John, her brothers, Daniel, Orlando, Lee and George; her sister, Florence Taylor and her beloved nephew, James Ranalli.

Ann is a native Philadelphian and growing up with 4 brothers, she loved all the Philly sport teams.

Ever industrious, Ann worked nearly her entire life, finally retiring at age 95. Her first job was in a food processing plant where she worked sorting and packaging cookies, and having the sweet tooth that she had, she probably sampled a few along the way. From there she took a job at Sears, where she met and married her husband, John. She had a few more jobs along the way, TRACOR in Washington, DC, The Hurst Corp in Warminster and United Technologies before finding her niche at ETC in Southampton, PA where she stayed for over 40 years. Despite having several bosses over the years, those who worked with Ann never had any doubt who was really in charge. She rose through the ranks at ETC and ended her career as the Vice President of Administration, but was also a friend, confidante and second mother to scores of people who benefited from her loving kindness (and occasional scolding). If anything needed to get done, Ann handled it with grace and command and never expected anything in return. Ann's reach was truly global, having helped countless people over the decades feel welcome and part of the "ETC family", whether employee or customer. Few can claim to have personally impacted so many people over the years as Ann has.

Relatives and friends are invited to Ann's Life Celebration on Tues. Apr. 6, 2021 from 10 to 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel, 611 Knowles Ave., Southampton, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00. Social distancing and masks are required. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Bensalem. Donations in Ann's name may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148 or donors@stjude.org or a charity of your choice. Ann's family would like to thank VITAS Hospice for their loving care of Ann in her final days. Condolences to the Allen family may be sent to www.McGheeFuneralHome.com.
