Obituary for Rita Campbell (Klepczynski)

Rita  Campbell (Klepczynski)
Rita Campbell, of Doylestown, PA, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2021. She was 87. Rita was born in Philadelphia to Theresa nee Drzalowska and William Klepczynski. She is survived by her loving children, Joseph P., III, David (Joelene) and Gerald W. (Sylvia); grandchildren, Devon, Joseph, Patrick, Aidan, Maura, Mitchell, Travis, Daulton, Griffin and Mason; and her brother, Dr. William Klepczynski. Rita was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph P. Campbell in 2017.

Born in 1934, Rita grew up during WWII in NE Philadelphia attending St. John Cantius. She then attended Nazareth Academy and was Editor of her Class Yearbook. After high school she was employed at NAPA (National Auto Parts Assoc.) and became the Administrative Assistant for the local office on Roosevelt Blvd before marrying Joseph Campbell in November, 1962.

Rita continued to work part time throughout her life in various positions in banking, municipal government (Warrington Twp.), and for private corporations (Raytheon Corp at the NAWC in Warminster).
Rita and her family moved to Churchville, PA in the mid 1960’s, later moving to the Doylestown area in the mid 1970’s. Rita was an active member of the Women's Auxiliary of Albert R Atkinson Unit #210 of the American Legion. She was an avid reader. She loved her cats and dogs and loved to visit the Lahaska SPCA. Most of all, she loved spending time at the holidays and at family gatherings with her 10 grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to Rita's Life Celebration on Saturday March 27, 2021 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at John F. Givnish Life Celebration Home: 4886 York Road, Buckingham, PA 18912. Services will begin at 2:00. Interment will be private at a later date at St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont. Donations in Rita's name may be made to Lahaska SPCA.
