Condolence: It has been my privilage to know Anil and Vidula for over ten years and I can't think of a sweeter, more dedicated couple. Anil is the kind of man we need in this world and I am very sad to see him go on to the next life. My heart goes out to Vidula, but I know the love she shared with Anil lives on and will sustain them both during this time of separation. Farewell Anil. Hope to see you again!

Condolence: Since the day I met Mr. Deshmukh I realized how lively his personality was. Simple but with good taste in classical music, intelligent person. Life was simple in 1980 (almost 40 years ago), he used to visit sometimes Washington D.C. to see the Independence Day parade with children.
We visited muceams around D.C. together with families, learnt about history and arts. Those were days we enjoyed. When we visited Philadelphia he took us to show the Bell, Statue of Jefferson and other historical places. We will miss him and his wits.

Condolence: The moment Anil entered our Dance for Parkinsons class in Abington years ago, there was a new spark in the room. He was delighted with all the music of so many traditions, and often asked me afterward to send him links so he could listen to the selections again. His wonderful sense of humor had all the other dancers in stitches. With Vidula by his side, he made dancing in a chair look easy! We are deeply saddened by his passing.
