Eveleen Greene, of Warminster, passed away peacefully on Wed. August 5, 2020. She was 85. Eveleen was born in Dublin, Ireland to Catherine (Mahar) and Thomas Brady. She is the loving wife of 54 years to John; mother to Brenda Greene; grandmother to John Thomas and Scott Dylan Mishalko; great grandmother to Aiden Michael Mishalko; sister of Kay Forbes, Tommy Brady, Aine Hanlon and Agnes Walsh. Eveleen was preceded in death by her daughter, Carol Ann Greene.

Eveleen came to the United States when she was 19 years old to work for a White House correspondence in DC. She met her husband, John at an Irish pub the day he got out of the service. She dedicated her entire life to her family and faith. She also worked part time at McDonalds for over 20 years. Eveleen loved to knit, take long walks and read. In her later years, she planted the most magnificent garden on the hill in her backyard where neighbors would visit and say a prayer. Eveleen joined a bible study and kept growing closer to the Lord, praying faithfully every morning for all the needs of her family. At the end of her illness she slowed down, but her spirit of love and compassion towards others never faded. If you got to spend a few minutes with Eveleen, her smile and laughter would uplift you and give you the strength you needed to face life with hope and confidence. The last year of her life was filled with the joy of holding her great grandson Aiden. Her Irish spirit will live on in all of us until we meet again.

Eveleen's family will receive relatives and friends on Wed. August 12, 2020 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at Nativity of Our Lord Church, 605 Str. Rd., Warminster, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30. Interment will be at St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont. In lieu of flowers, donations in Eveleen's name may be made to Conquering Life Prison & Recovery Ministries, PO Box 1624, Southampton, PA 18966.
