Condolence: As I was remembering uncle tony, I recalled a time when he would hold maddie and make her chubby little legs pretend walk. He would also always get homer and scooter howling. He was a good, generous, and loving person and he will be very missed.

Condolence: I was but 9 or 10 years old when Tony was away in boot camp. Tony wrote me letters; not just a sentence or two, but 2 to 3 page, hand-written letters. He talked about all sorts of things, including poking some fun at my sister, which as a kid I especially enjoyed. Tony made me feel like I mattered. Here’s the thing – I was not an exception or a fluke. Tony always made EVERYONE feel like they mattered. I know that Tony is now in a better place, and for that I am grateful. But I am heart broken for the rest of us. Please God, send more “Tony's" our way. And my eternal thanks to Ellie, Chris, and Dana for sharing Tony with us all.
