Obituary for John A. Woosnam

John A. Woosnam
John A. Woosnam went to heaven peacefully on Wed. May 6, 2020. He was 74. John was the beloved son of Mary (Gallagher) and Francis Woosnam. He is survived by his children, John (Nicole) and Maria Gerken (Jim); grandchildren, Christopher, Luke, Joseph, Ryan, Sean, Trey, Sophia, Gianna and Ella; and his sister, Maureen Woosnam. He is preceded in death by his son, Anthony and brothers; Francis (Hank), Robert, and William. He was loved and will be sorely missed by a countless number of friends.

John was a proud USMC Veteran and a draftsman by trade employed by Philco Ford, NARCO and General Electric. Thankfully, he enjoyed many years of retirement.

Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, John's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated privately. He will be laid to rest in Resurrection Cemetery in Bensalem. John would be very proud if we requested donations in his memory that would benefit military families. Accordingly, the Woosnam family has selected The Fisher House Foundation, 12300 Twinbrook Parkway, Suite 410, Rockville, ND 20852; or via https://fisherhouse.org.
