Tom and Sue Bond

Bill was a good neighbor of ours for over 25 years. We extend our deep sympathy and condolences to his wife, Peg, and other family members. Certain life events tend to be permanently imprinted in your mind About 10 years ago, my wife and I had just returned from a cruise taking us to many warm locations, and when we returned we were confronted with one of the biggest snowstorms, perhaps even the biggest, experienced by the area where we live. I was confronted with a ton of snow to move and I was ever so eager to get out to see our new granddaughter who had born while we were away. Bill, an extremely vigilant person, must have spotted me and before I knew it he came to my assistance with a snowblower. We worked together until all of the work was done. I invited Bill to leave anytime he was tired. Typical Bill, a hard worker, he just continued working with me. I was and remain very appreciative of his help. Our property is immediately adjacent to Bill and Peg’s. Bill, I suspect a bit of a perfectionist, did a wonderful job in creating and maintaining his lawn. He, along with Peg, built a truly magnificent stone deck. Sue and I used to marvel at how hard they both worked on this project. Hopefully, in Heaven, Bill will have the opportunity to tend to a new lawn and build an even more spectacular deck! He was a fine man and we will miss him.
