Condolence From: Catholic Social Services
Condolence: In Memoriam – Ann R. Smith

Ann graciously left a legacy gift from her estate to support the work of Catholic Social Services of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. She took particular interest in the services we provide to adult men and women with intellectual and developmental disabilities within the Communities of Don Guanella and Divine Providence, and similar services for children at St. Edmond’s Home. Ann expressed interest in these programs in part due to her own volunteer work with autistic children, and an inspiring book she read about a young lady named Grace Bowen, who once resided at St. Edmond’s and is now living at Divine Providence Village. We are so very grateful to Ann for her heartfelt generosity, and offer our prayers as well as mass intentions in her memory, to be celebrated by priests of the Servants of Charity who provide pastoral ministry for the Communities of Don Guanella and Divine Providence. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
