Obituary for Guy Collins Muntzer
Guy Collins Muntzer passed away on Friday, January 10, 2020 after a long illness. He was 65 years old. Guy is survived by; his loving wife of 24 years, Bernice(Szczurowski); children, Bryan Muntzer (Laura),Step Children, Robert Westgate, Susan Mason(Donald), Thomas Westgate (Jennifer); and grandchildren, Sean Muntzer and Tommy Muntzer, Madison Westgate, Sarah Westgate, James Mason, Ashley Mason, Jacob Westgate, Emma Westgate.
Guy was born in Trenton, NJ, son of Harry and Helen, Former resident of Upper Southampton and Feasterville PA. He played basketball for 4 years at William Tennent High School and played with the Upper Southampton Sports Club. From 1980 to 1992 he was a Devoted fund raiser for the Easter Seals .In 1990 despite his own disability Guy organized the best tournament involving 80 teams and raised more money than any other group. In 1991 he was honored by the Easter Seals organization with a plaque from the Easter Seals Society of Philadelphia.
In lieu of flowers, Guy’s family has requested that donations be made in his name to Easterseals Eastern Pennsylvania, 1501 Lehigh Street, Ste. 201, Allentown, PA 18103. Services are to be held privately at the request of Guy's family.
