Condolences

Condolence From: Lisa Abruzzo
Condolence: My sincerest condolences to all of Jim's family. I had the pleasure of working with Jim for many years at the Fox Chase Cancer Center. He was always a gentlemen, always had a good joke to tell and made everyone laugh. We even had the opportunity to visit him at his shore home in North Wildwood.

Please know all of you are in my thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time.

Condolence: To one of the finest gentleman I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing,
Be it your role of husband, father, grandfather, brother, or someone you were befriending!
It was all done with examples of love, exemplifying your way of sharing and caring.
Whether it be driving, boating, crabbing or fishing,
or the time the boat needed towing!!
And as Johnny Carson said,”The One of all Knowing!”
You were the best, because of your way of teaching, doing and showing,
No small task, and you did it smiling, frowning and grinning, but
You kept the hospital facilities, up and running!
And now my final request and I’m kind of sobbing,
“How do I stop my tears that are a flowing?”
God Bless Jimmy Duncan, your little buddy,
Eddie Deane

Condolence: Jim was a big part of the Fox Chase Cancer Center family and it was our loss when he left. He always had a good joke, a twinkle in his eye and a positive attitude that rubbed off on you. When Jim and Marty got together, you couldn't tell who was telling the bigger tale. My condolences to you all; he was truly a gift !

Condolence: I worked with Jim at FCCC and truly enjoyed all of my interactions with him. I respected his commitment to our patients and our mission and how hard he worked to insure that our facility was in order and working well. My husband and I enjoyed interacting with Jim at various FCCC events as well all loved fishing and boating. I could see the joy that these activities gave him. Always a smile and a sparkle in his eyes, even during the tough times. Jim was a great role model to me. My condolences to his family and loved ones.

Condolence: Jim Duncan was the cornerstone of Fox Chase Cancer Center. He cared deeply about the mission and understood the value of everyone who worked together to support that mission
Jim was kind funny and caring. He had a way of listening with a twinkle in his eye that made you want to believe it would all come true
He tried so hard to provide support to the researchers and the medical staff and colleagues through snow storms floods and those sunny days as well
Jim leaves a beautiful legacy we will always treasure.
Sympathy to his family and friends.
Proud to have been his colleague.
