Obituary for Frank Heebner Jr.

Frank Heebner Jr.

Frank Heebner Jr. passed away at home surrounded by family on Wed. Feb. 7, 2019. He was 98. Frank was born in Phila. to Jennie (Morrison) and Frank Heebner Sr. He is preceded in death by his wife, Emma and their son Frank G. Heebner. Frank is survived by his daughter, Barbara Eberly (John MacArthur); grandchildren, Heather Liebers (Steve), Jennifer McConnell (Timothy); and great grandchildren Kiera, Casey, Shane, and Ashlyn. Also survived by his companion of 30 years, Josie Giardinelli.

Frank was a WWII Navy veteran, he served on the USS San Juan. He worked at Nice Ball Bearing for 45 years. He loved steam engines and was active with the New Hope and Ivyland Railroad. Frank and Josie took up ballroom dancing and loved to stay active. He stayed very busy with the VFW post 6493. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandkids and great grandkids.

Frank’s family will receive relatives and friends on Thurs. Mar. 7, 2019 from 10 to 11:00 AM at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 877 Street Road, Southampton, PA 18966. Services will begin at 11:00. Interment with Military Honors will be held at Hillside Cemetery in Roslyn. Condolences may be sent to Frank's family by visiting www.mcgheefuneralhome.com.
