Michele
Dear Ellen Bellin,
My gorgeous little sister. Please be beside us through the rest of life's journey. I'll always remember sharing a bedroom with you at dads and talking for endless hours. I'll remember every Christmas morning deserves a mimosa, every cat needs a tux and a portrait, every grandmom needs a milk and apple juice bandit. I'll remember us "borrowing the car for the weekend" and driving out all the way to JMU to visit Lisa. I'll remember how brave you were to allow me to attempt teaching you stick shift. You hoped in the back seat during my flight instructing days without a doubt or inkling of pause. You were a wonderful partner in crime; whether we were pork and beaning mailboxes or using the fart machine on innocent dinner guests. I'll remember you as the ski bomber, you fearlessly pointed your skis downhill and owned it. You were a speed talker but it was a special language a sisters ear loved to hear. Thank you for throwing out boyfriends I should had tossed long ago. You were a spitfire little sister, you spoke your mind, and never held back on chocolate cake. Please remind us to have the extra slice, honk our horns through tunnels, wrap ourselves up in toilet paper, and run the extra mile in life. Love, Michele
