Helen T. Shannon, of Southampton, passed away peacefully on Friday Jan. 18, 2019. She was 92. Helen was born in Phila. to Anna (McGovern) and Nicholas Rosica. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gerard, Sr.; children, Jerry, Jr., Maureen Joly. Helen is survived by her loving children, Helene Hines (Bill), Marianne Smith (Steve) and Joseph (Debbie); daughter in law, Pam Shannon; son in law, Paul Joly; grandchildren, Philip Joly (Katy), Emilie Bateman (Garrett), Will Hines, Alex Shannon, Patrick Smith, Katie Shannon, Shannon Smith & Joey Shannon; siblings, Anna Mary Scalzo & Vinnie Rosica (Barbara); also by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Helen was a loving sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She made all feel welcome and cherished. She will be
dearly missed.

Helen's family will receive relatives and friends on Thurs. January 24, from 6 to 8 P.M. at the James J. McGhee Funeral Home, 690 Belmont Ave. Southampton Pa, and again on Friday, Jan. 25, from 10 to 11 A.M. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 611 Knowles Ave. Southampton, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 A.M. with Rev. William Monahan as celebrant. Helen will be laid to rest at Our Lady of Grace cemetery Langhorne, PA.
