For over 61 years, Jenny was involved in anything Southampton. In the 1960’s, she wrote for the Public Spirit Newspaper, was involved with the Southampton Jr. Women's Club, and volunteered with the Southampton Library. Jenny loved her church and assisted in starting a Senior Group, served as a Deacon and Elder, delivering church flowers, programs, meals and Communion to shut ins. Jenny was a Founder of Churchville Travelers, arranging many bus trips to various destinations. For over 20 years, Jenny was involved with Southampton Days, volunteering countless hours for publicity, decorating the fairgrounds and assisting in the 4th of July Parade formation. Upon moving to Southampton, she worked with Dr McDonald and the Centennial School District. She is proud to be a United States Citizen, taking the oath in 1952. Being of Austrian decent, she was proud to be involved with the VE German Club in Warminster for many years, especially during the annual Oktoberfest and Lichtelabend. Jenny loved her family and always enjoyed getting together with friends and family for whatever the occasion may be. The family would like to thank the Aides, Nurses and staff at Glendale Uptown Home for their continued care.
