Young Jesuits

Bill and I were good friends.  As young Jesuits ... he from the Maryland Province ... I from the Missouri Province ... used to hang-out together quite often.  Bill was very active in hosting students from St. Louis University over to Fusz Memorial for dinner.  He began a monthly meeting where students were invited to "meet the Jesuits."  Here ... Bill and I are preparing our scripts for a vocation night talent show.  We were co-hosts for the event.  Bill was always fond of wearing his roman collar ... and I have no idea where I got hold of a white tux ... but it must have been use as part of the show in some way.

Bill was always cheerful and filled with hope.  He saw the glass as always "half full" and never "half empty."  Bill was a wonderful confessor ... compassionate to the core ... and a good listener.  We lost touch after I departed the Jesuits but he would always come to mind whenever I remembered the cherished times we shared as young scholastics at St. Louis U.  Rest in Peace my friend.  Looking forward to our reunion on day.
