Janet is survived by her loving daughters, Kathryn Wolcott (Timothy), Sheri White (Brian) and Bonnie Erwin, and grandchildren, Ryan Wolcott (Emily) and Andrew White. She was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm. Janet grew up in Willow Grove, Pa. She graduated from Upper Moreland High School where she was the Drum Majorette of the Marching Band - an achievement she was very proud of through her life. She married her high school sweetheart, Malcolm Erwin, on June 21, 1952 at Willow Grove Methodist Church. She raised three daughters and devoted her life and her heart to each of them. She worked for a short time at Philadelphia Electric Company prior to having her daughters. In the 1960s she returned to work driving a van for Centennial School District. It was a job she loved as she carried special needs children. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church for nearly 50 years, where she was very active in volunteering her time. Her greatest achievement was becoming a Stephen Minister. She remained active until her passing. She loved sharing communion and Pastoral visits with Pastor Harkness. She adored her grandsons and granddaughter, finding great joy in them and their accomplishments. Her love and devotion for her family and her friends was boundless. Through her life she touched the lives of so many and had many dear and close friends. Janet was an avid Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles fan, and loved Temple and Penn State football. She had tremendous faith in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, which she shared with all. She will be remembered by all for her heart full of love, her sweet and kind spirit, her generous nature and for her wonderful sense of humor. Janet’s family will receive relatives and friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 8, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 877 Street Road, Southampton, Pa., where services will begin at 3 p.m. Interment will be held privately.
