Condolence From: Stephen @ Kathy Lockett
Condolence: The world has lost a true hero. We looked up to Uncle Tony not for just the freedoms he helped provide us and the people in Europe he helped set free. But also for the great family he helped raise and the humor he always provided at every family get together. We will miss you Uncle Tony!

Condolence: These are words I wrote to Uncle Tony after a memorable call with him when I was in Europe: Dear Uncle Tony, I will forever remember our phone call of June 22, 2004 when I was atop the Mardasson Monument in Bastogne, Belgium talking to you about your memories of those days in December 1944. You sounded as if you were living it all over again and seeing the battlefield thorough my eyes as we talked of those events so many years ago. I was also moved by the words of the Belgian people “the Americans fought for the soil…. As if it had been their homeland” and the encryption etched in granite: “Liberatoriubs Maericanis Populus Belgicus Memor” To the American Liberators The Belgian People will not forget I will always remember and I will always be proud. I am free because of you and the men of honor and courage who fought beside you six decades ago. Your nephew, Glenn We will all miss him so much. God Bless.

Condolence From: Bob and Barb Leonard
Condolence: Our wonderful Tony has passed. For over thirty years you were our neighbor, our friend, and our family! Our kids loved you and our animals loved you even more because you always had treats! Our grandchildren loved to come over with Bob to see you! They asked me today if you were in heaven and I told them, ABSOLUTELY! Thank you for your service to this country, your many visits throughout Bucks and Montgomery County schools telling students about the war and what you'd been through so many years ago. Your battle is over now and we will miss you terribly! When we look next door we will always see you raking leaves, shoveling snow, cutting the grass and getting the decorations up for the holiday! We will see your quiet smile and friendly wave and know that your new address is within us all now! We love you, Tony. To all of the Zanzinger Family, we are so very sorry for your loss. Love, The Leonard Family

Condolence From: Brian and Ginny O'Hara
Condolence: We have been so blessed to have Uncle Tony in our lives. He made the O'Hara/Zanzinger picnic more than just a reunion...it was also a World War 2 history lesson for all of the generations. We are so grateful for the stories and memorabilia that he shared with all of us, but more for the humor and good cheer with which he greeted each and every family member. We love you Uncle Tony!
