Marie Uhl, 92, passed away peacefully on Sept. 13, 2017. She was born in Philadelphia to Anna (Grussenmeyer) and John Hughes. Marie was the devoted wife of the late Thomas Uhl; twin sister of the late Anne Venne; sadly missed by her sister, Rita Mayer; children, nieces, grandchildren and grand nieces and nephews.

Marie worked many years as a Bell Telephone employee.

Visitation on Tues., Sept. 19, 2017 from 10 to 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 611 Knowles Ave., Southampton, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Bensalem. In lieu of flowers, Marie's family has requested donations in her name be made to Alzheimer's Association National Office, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl 17, Chicago, IL 60601 or alz.org.
