Obituary for Frederick H. Young


Frederick H. Young passed away on September 30, 2016. He is the loving and devoted husband of Thelma M. (nee McGrogan); loving father of Steven (Donna) and Donald (Nancy); grandfather of Brittany, Joshua, Zachary, Ashley, Melissa and Elizabeth; great grandchild, Mila; daughter in law, Deborah; siblings, Thelma Shaffer and Dorothy Young. Fred was preceded in death by his son, Eric and grandson, Conner.

Fred's family will receive relatives and friends on Thurs. Oct. 6, 2016 from 10 to 11:15 AM at James J. McGhee Funeral Home, 690 Belmont Ave., Southampton, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 Noon on Oct. 6 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 611 Knowles Ave., Southampton, PA. Interment will be at St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the family of Frederick H. Young in care of James J. McGhee Funeral Home.
