Obituary for Charles M. "Chuck" Engle

Charles M. "Chuck"  Engle
Charles M. “Chuck” Engle, of Upper Southampton, passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2014. He was 81. Chuck was the son of the late Emma (nee Frank) and Benjamin Engle. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Edith. Chuck is survived by his; daughters, Dolores Trexler (Charles) & Dorothy Honabach (Dale), grandchildren, Kimberly Wolfrom, Michael Clemenson, & Dale Honabach, Jr. (Grace), great-grandchildren, Amanda Laporte, Krista Ruth, & many nieces and nephews. Chuck is also survived by his long time best friend and companion Theresa Rank.

Chuck owned and operated a gas station in Feasterville for over 35 years. He enjoyed many years in thoroughbred horse racing and made many friends along the way. He also enjoyed owning and racing pigeons.

Chuck’s family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, August 24, from 6 to 8 p.m., & Monday. August 25, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., at the James J. McGhee Funeral Home, 690 Belmont Ave. Southampton, PA. Words of Remembrance will begin at 10:30 a.m. Chuck will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park, Feasterville, PA.
