Obituary for Walter J. Jankowski

Walter J.  Jankowski
Walter J. Jankowski, of Upper Southampton, passed on Wednesday, March 19, 2014. He was born on November 22, 1928 to the late John Jankowski and Stephanie (nee Fedora) in Philadelphia. Walter is survived by his loving wife, Edna (nee Banford), children, Walter Fred (Dianna) & John (Robin), grandchildren, Tanya Wapner, Jonathan, Jennifer, & Robert, and by his great-grandson Nathan. He was preceded in death by brothers Edward Jankowski and Richard.

Walter, a veteran of the United Stares Army was an avid hunter and fisherman throughout his life. He retired from the trucking industry and then worked for the Upper Southampton Parks and Recreation Center till the age of 82.

Walter’s family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, March 24, 2014, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 611 Knowles Ave., Southampton, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Walter will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park, Feasterville, PA.
