Ellen Daly Zimmermann passed away peacefully on Monday Dec. 10, 2018 after a brief illness. She was 90. Ellen was born in Philadelphia to Charlotte (McBride) and John Daly. She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Albert, Sr.; daughters, Charlotte Massoudi (Kurt) and Karen Mahan (Stephen); grandchildren, Nicole McGeachy (Gary), Geoffrey Zimmermann, Stephen Mahan, Ellen Palin (Charles), Shahrzad Segovia (Fernando), Shireen DeNault (Albert), Joseph, Ronald and Elizabeth Mahan; 6 great-grandchildren; daughter in law, Barbara Zimmermann; brother, John Daly (Joan) and many nieces and nephews. Ellen was preceded in death by her son, Albert, Jr.

Ellen graduated from Frankfurt High School, and married her one true love, Albert Zimmermann when she was but a slip of a girl, and they enjoyed 70 years of marriage together. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Family always came first. Ellen had a passion for singing that started in high school and she became a trained soloist. She sang joyfully with the church choir and at many weddings and services. She became very active with her church. Ellen was the Director of Christian Education for many years and was a dedicated volunteer with Aid for Friends.
She was an avid reader and loved a good mystery. She kept up with the news, current events, and worked wonders with her I-pad.
Ellen's family will receive relatives and friends on Tues. Dec. 18, 2018 from 10 to 11 AM at Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church, 877 Street Rd., Southampton, PA. Services will begin at 11 am with interment following at Sunset Memorial Park in Feasterville. In lieu of flowers, Ellen's family has requested donations in her name be made to Good Shepherd.
