John T. Ward, Jr., passed away peacefully on Fri. June 8, 2018. He was 79. John was born in Philadelphia, PA to Margaret (Eurbrick) and John T. Ward, Sr. John is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Roberta (Johnson); children, John Burns, John Ward, III (Joann), Cynthia Mastrocco (Tony), Eileen Finocchiaro (Bill), Kimberly McAleer (Paul), Robert Ward (Suzanne), and Jennifer Burnett (Cory): grandchildren, Johnny, Michael and Tommy Burns, Brian, Steven and Monica Ward, Peter and Antonia Mastrocco, Nicholas, Daniel and Michael Finocchiaro, Brendan and Aidan McAleer, Caitlyn Ward, Isabella and Hudson Burnett; sisters, Marie Lumley (Jim) and Celie Franklin (Nick) and many nieces and nephews, . John was preceded in death by his sister, Margaret McCarthy.

John's family will receive relatives and friends on Mon. June 18, 2018 from 10 to 12:00 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 611 Knowles Ave., Southampton, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 Noon. Military Honors will be presented following Mass. In lieu of flowers, the Ward family has requested donations in John's name be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis TN 38148-0142.
