Condolence: Msgr. Close was a very good friend, teacher and confidante to me. I will miss him very much. I worked with him at the Seminary for many years where we worked hard and laughed a lot! To his family, I am very sorry for your loss, my prayers are with you all. God bless.

Condolence: Rest in peace Johnny! You are now where you worked all your life for. You made such a difference to so so many lives and anyone who came to know you are better off for having known you. We, as a family, grieve for our loss of a brother but are at peace to know you are in Heaven and your work here on earth is done. As the song by Vince Gill goes,"Go rest high upon the mountain, your work on earth is done"! We love and miss you!
