Obituary for Michael C. Kenny

Michael C. Kenny
Michael C. Kenny passed away peacefully on Monday Feb. 26, 2018. He was 51. Mike was born in Philadelphia to Patricia (Magee) and Francis Kenny. He is survived by his loving wife of 6 years, Dawn; his parents, Frank and Patricia; step-daughter, Sophia R. Smargissi; sister, Karen Kenny; mother and father-in-law, Debbie and Dennis Scialanca; brother in law, Tom Scialanca; and niece, Beverly Hampton.

Mike enjoyed most spending time with his family. He enjoyed playing golf and traveling and was always willing to give a helping hand to anyone who needed it.

Mike's family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, March 5, 2018 from 9 to 11:00 AM at St. Christopher's Catholic Church, 13301 Proctor Rd., Philadelphia, PA 19116. A Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the Kenny family has requested donations in Mike's name be made to Cancer Support Community Greater Philadelphia at Gilda's Club, 200 Kirk Road, Warminster, PA 18974.
