Obituary for Margaret Riemer (Irwin)

Margaret  Riemer (Irwin)
Margaret I. Riemer passed away peacefully on Thurs. Feb. 8, 2018. She was 84. Margaret was born in Phila. to Annie (Fisher) and Walter Irwin. She is survived by her children, Wesley (Jerri), Barbara Dyson (Raymond Scott) and Carolyn Riemer (John Brett); 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Margaret was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dr. Norman Riemer in 2017.

Marge is a graduate of Bartram High School, Jefferson School of Nursing and West Chester University. She was a private duty nurse and assisted in her husband’s dental practice for many years. She was an avid bridge player. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, needlepoint, cross stitch, knitting and crocheting. While at Ann’s Choice, she was an active member of Sit and Stitch for many years. She was a member of Questors and the American Association of University Women. She was an active member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church supporting the Altar Guild and Aid for Friends. Her biggest joy was spending time with her family and in particular her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Margaret's family will receive relatives and friends on Sat. Feb. 17, 2018 from 9:30 to 11:00 AM at Ann's Choice Chapel, 30000 Ann's Choice Way, Warminster, PA 18974. Services will begin at 11:00. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the Riemer family has requested donations in Margaret's name be made to Ann's Choice Benevolent Fund, c/o Philanthropy, 20000 Ann's Choice Way, Warminster, PA 18974 or Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 877 Street Rd., Southampton, PA 18966.
