Richard T. Geruson, 85, passed away peacefully on Tuesday December 19, 2017. He was born in Bronx, NY to Madeline (Ripple) and Alexander Geruso. Rick is survived by his loving children, Richard J. (Nanette Fondas), Joan J. Johnson (Donald) and Gregory J. (Eileen Kelly); grandchildren, Nathaniel, Luke, Joan, and Jake Geruson, Julianne Rose and Nicholas Johnson and Claire K., Teresa K., and Catherine K. Geruson; his sister, Elizabeth "Betty" Baker Begley and was adored by many nieces and nephews. Rick was preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Joan T. in 1992 and is survived by Vanessa J. Peirce.

Rick graduated from Regis High School in New York, received his BA from Fordham Univ., his Masters from NYU, and his PhD from Univ. of Penn. He was an Economics Professor at La Salle University for 41 years. Rick was a proud veteran who served in the Marines as a 2nd Lieutenant.

The Geruson family will receive relatives and friends on Sat. Dec. 23, 2017 from 10 to 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel, 611 Knowles Ave., Southampton, PA. 18966 A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM.
