Nancy A. Donahue (Wistner), 71, from Warminster, PA died suddenly on December 11th 2017. She was the wife of William D. Donahue. They shared 37 years of marriage together.
Born in Warminster, PA she was the daughter of William and Anne Wistner. Nancy is a graduate of William Tennent High School. She was an accomplished hairdresser; even receiving a scholarship to attend beauty school. Nancy and Bill worked together their entire marriage at their own place of business, Mr. Williams Beauty Salon. After retiring from the beauty industry Nancy went on to become a pharmacy technician.
Nancy was a Lioness in the Lions club for many years. She enjoyed cooking, baking and creating crafts. She was even known to her family as their “Martha Stewart”. She will be remembered by her unique style and her outgoing personality. Nancy was never caught out of the house without her makeup and she prided herself on this. Nancy had a love for all animals, even taking in the animals no one else wanted and giving them the life they deserved. She most recently adopted a kitten last Christmas, lovingly known as Jack.
She is survived by her spouse William, her son Brendan and his wife Mindy, step-son Christian William Donahue and his wife Elizabeth Focht, step-daughter Susan Dawn Donahue Dumont and her husband Charlie, 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grand children. She was predeceased by her brother William Wistner.
A viewing and mass will take place on Friday December 15th, 2017 at St. Ephrem’s Church, located at 5430 Hulmeville Road Bensalem, PA 19020. The viewing is from 10am-11am and a mass will immediately follow. Interment is at Resurrection Cemetery directly across street from the church. There will be a luncheon to follow at Georgines Restaurant.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made in Nancy’s name to St. Ephrem’s Church.
