Myrna L. Gura passed away peacefully on Monday Nov. 13, 2017. She was 85. Myrna was the youngest of 14 children of Laura (nee Border)and Paul Marquette. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Joseph, whom she married in 1956. Myrna is survived by her children, Joseph, Jr. (Barbara) of Perkasie and Laura of Warminster; her grandchildren, Joseph Remsing (Stacie), Joseph Gura, III and Jacqueline Gura; and her great- grandson, Dylan Remsing, who was the light of her life. She will also be missed by several nieces and nephews.
Myrna had worked at Bond Clothing where she met her husband. She was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker, donating some of her time to OLGC School. She enjoyed her many outings with her sisters and her adventures and fun times with her friends.
Myrna's family will receive relatives and friends on Mon. Nov. 20, 2017 from 9 to 10:30 AM at James J. McGhee Funeral Home, 690 Belmont Ave., Southampton, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 611 Knowles Ave., Southampton, PA. Interment will be at St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont.
