Obituary for Dominic J. Visco


Dominic J. Visco, 77, of Warminster, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2017. He was born in Italy to Dea D’Alessio and Vincenzo Visco. Dominic is survived by his loving wife of 55 Years, Barbara Colajezzi; children, Vincent (Lisa), Mark (Lisa), Lisa Gifford (John) and Joseph; 16 grandchildren; sister, Diane Remsing and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph and sister Mary Ranieri.

Dominic was 8 years old when he came to America with his family. He attended Our Lady of Pompeii grade school and graduated from Northeast Catholic High School in 1958. In HS he was Jr & Sr class president, played varsity on the city championship football team and was one of their captains his senior year. He obtained a Bachelors degree in Accounting from LaSalle college in 1962 and then served in the US Army. After pursuing a Finance career at Honeywell, he started his own mortgage business. He was active with all of his children and grandchildren, and was also an avid golfer who shot his age (76) in 2016.

Dominic's family will receive relatives and friends on Wed. July 19, 2017 from 9:30 to 11:00 AM at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 856 Euclid Ave., Warrington, PA 18976. A Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the Visco family has requested donations in Dominic's name be made to Abington-Jefferson Hospice, 225 Newtown Rd., Warminster, PA 18974, Fox Chase Cancer Center, Office of Institutional Advancement, 333 Cottman Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19111 or a charity of your choice.
