Charles J. Wagner
Charles J. Wagner, of Warminster, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 1, 2017. He was the son of the late Marie nee Chapman and Wilbert Wagner. Charles is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Emily nee Masluck; children Jeff (Rhonda), Mark, Glenn, and Karen Kearns (Gary); grandchildren Randy Wagner, Shannon Wagner (Aaron), and Shane Kearns; siblings Betty Markle and Bill Wagner (Cass). Charles is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
Born in Mt. Carmel, PA, Charles was one of eight children. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War, serving on the Heavy Cruiser Helena. After leaving the Navy, he worked as a Tool and Die Maker. After he retired, Charles enjoyed being a member of the St. Francis Senior Group at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church. Along with being Treasurer, he volunteered to organize many group events.
Charles' family will receive relatives and friends on Wed., April 5th, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m, at the James J. McGhee Funeral Home, 690 Belmont Ave. Southampton, PA, and again on Thurs. April 6th, from 10:00 to11:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church 611 Knowles Ave. Southampton, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m. Charles will be laid to rest at St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont, PA
