Catherine Nicolo, 85, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2017. She and her sister were born on Halloween Day, 1931 at home in Philadelphia, PA to the late Mary (nee O'Brien) and Michael Celec. She worked at the aviation supply activity on Oxford Avenue for thirty-three years, where she met her future husband, and has been retired for nearly as long. She was fond of her home and her garden which she was able to enjoy over her long retirement. Catherine is survived by her loving daughter, Mary and brother in law, Eugene Trimber, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by and her older brother, Martin Celec, her older twin sister, Mary Trimber , and her husband, William.


Catherine's family will receive family and friends on Thurs. February 23, 2017 from 10 to 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 611 Knowles Ave., Southampton, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the Nicolo family has requested donations in her name be made to Eternal Word Television Network, 5817 Old Leeds Road, Irondale, AL, 35210.
